Interior Design
Kensington Design has been helping clients refurbish, redesign and refresh their homes since 1984.
Whether you are looking to furnish or renovate your property from top to bottom, or simply re-upholster your favourite armchair, our team are here to help.
With our trusted selection of architects, surveyors and contractors along with lighting designers and craftspeople, we breathe a new lease of life into your home.
Chelsea Penthouse
We furnished and upgraded an iconic open plan penthouse. The brief was to make it comfortable and to let the view of London do the talking. We replaced the previous wood kitchen with units that disappear into the background, yet remain very practical.
In the living room we designed and built the most beautiful bookcase to house the exact dimensions of the client's beloved collection of cricket books. The family sofa is so large, it was finished on site.
Queensgate
A complete renovation of a charming Mews House with a garage conversion to create a three bedroom, three bathroom high-end rental property for clients who live overseas.
The whole process was undertaken by email and the clients were delighted with the results and tight timeframe that this turnkey project was completed in.
Holland Park
We oversaw every aspect of the interior design and furnishings, in this complete refurbishment of a family Pied à Terre, installing the most beautiful herringbone floor, a complete overhaul of the bathrooms and changing all the ironmongery, which always makes such a difference.
Kensington Gardens
We assisted with the interior design of this very special home on the doorstep of Kensington Gardens. We measured, designed and installed all the curtains, along with select lighting, upholstery and furniture.
Fulham
We converted a Grade 2 listed former school into a private residence and increased the usable space from 2,000 to 11,000 square foot. From inception to completion, Kensington Design oversaw every aspect of this one of a kind project.
South Kensington
This project was completely stripped back, spatially reconfigured and converted into a bright and airy apartment. To emphasise the natural light within the design, we used mirrored panelling to increase the reflective light and sense of depth within the space.
Texas Ranch
A conversion of an old barn into a stunning holiday home. Kensington Design oversaw every detail of the conversion, from the spatial planning down to the fixtures and fittings. This well considered design sits within the elements of the surrounding land and lake harmoniously.
Kensington Design furnished and decorated this family home with a mixture of antiques and family heirlooms. We then complimented these unique pieces with specifically sourced fabrics and wall finishes to create the perfect blend for our client.
Virginia Water
This new build house was furnished and finished to accommodate the eclectic style of the owner. Featuring a completely bespoke family cinema room, adjacent to a 20 metre pool. Here’s a glimpse of an extraordinary home…
London Commercial Office
This office was completely stripped out and reconfigured to an open plan space maximising the light throughout in order to best suit the young, dynamic company moving in.
